This 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training at Samyak Institute of Yoga & Ayurveda is an intensive residential immersion designed for certified Yoga teachers who wish to deepen their practice, refine their teaching, and expand their understanding of classical Yogic knowledge.

The training is structured around four essential layers of advanced Yoga teaching: disciplined practice, philosophical depth, therapeutic intelligence, and inner transformation.

This program moves beyond foundational instruction and invites teachers into a more subtle, mature, and integrated exploration of Yoga.

Core Areas of Study

Traditional Hatha Yoga
Strengthening fundamentals through classical Hatha practices, deeper alignment refinement, and advanced understanding of asana methodology rooted in traditional texts.

Yin Yoga
Exploring the psychological and emotional dimensions of practice. Yin Yoga is studied not merely as a physical system but as a transformative tool for cultivating introspection and nervous system balance.

Ayurveda for Yoga Teachers
Understanding Vata, Pitta, and Kapha body types and how constitution influences asana practice, sequencing, and teaching approach.

Vinyasa Yoga Sequencing
Building intelligent, creative, and therapeutically informed Vinyasa sequences — from beginner to advanced levels — including modifications for specific needs.

Advanced Pranayama & Mantra
Exploration of classical pranayama techniques beyond foundational practices. Study of mantra chanting with attention to swaras (intonation), subtle sound, and integration of mantra within meditation and breath practices.

Yoga Darshana (Philosophical Studies)

• Deeper exploration of Yoga Sutras
• Study of Vedas and Upanishadic Mahavakyas
• Bhagavad Gita with focus on Guna-traya (Sattva, Rajas, Tamas) and psychological interpretation
• Expanded study of Koshas, Chakras, and Nadis

Yoga Nidra
Traditional methods of Yoga Nidra for cultivating Sattva and enhancing teaching capacity.

Yoga Anatomy
Advanced structural anatomy applied to asana practice. Understanding students’ limitations and adapting teaching safely and intelligently.

Tantra Studies
A structured introduction to classical Tantra traditions, including historical context, five major traditions, and focused study of Dasha Maha Vidya, grounded in traditional sources.

Mudras
Detailed study and practical integration of Mudras within meditation and pranayama practices.
